Hibs star Hogg to miss Derby
Hibs star Chris Hogg will sit out tomorrow night's derby against Hearts at Tynecastle after having his appeal against his sending off during the weekend defeat by Dundee United rejected.
Although both Hibs manager and United boss Craig Levein described the red card as "harsh" following Hogg's challenge on Tannadice winger Craig Conway, referee Stevie O'Reilly today revealed he was standing by his decision.
And in a further blow to Hibs, Hogg has now passed the SFA's disciplinary points limit and will also be suspended for Celtic's visit to Easter Road on May 17.
