Hearts' win over Saints seals title
HEARTS win the Premier League title by beating already relegated St Mirren 2-0 on the last day of the season. The perfect revenge fantasy for Tynecastle supporters still smarting about 1986? Actually it was how the Ghanaian championship was sealed at the weekend, with Hearts of Oak capturing the crown by defeating Sporting St Mirren.
The latter side have forged a link with their Paisley namesakes, with their chairman visiting Love Street a few years ago. The Ghanaian Saints also wear a donated black and white kits as their change strip.
