Hearts boss Laszlo wins touchline ban appeal
HEARTS manager Csaba Laszlo successfully argued against a two-match touchline ban during an appeal hearing at the Scottish Football Association this morning.
The SFA decided to uphold his appeal at a meeting of their disciplinary committee after he was issued the ban following Hearts' 1-1 draw with Aberdeen at Tynecastle on October 25.
Laszlo was reported for entering the field at full-time and attempting to confront referee Steve Conroy. He became embroiled in a heated exchange with fourth official John McKendrick and then remonstrated with Sandy Clark, the Aberdeen coach.
Laszlo argued that he simply followed his usual post-match ritual of going onto pitch to embrace his players, and the SFA have now agreed to quash his punishment.
