Haye's big day

DAVID HAYE believes boxing "doesn't get any bigger" than his open-air world heavyweight title showdown with Vitali Klitschko in London next summer.

The Bermondsey fighter will challenge the WBC champion next June, most likely at either Wembley or Stamford Bridge.

Former world cruiserweight champion Haye agreed terms for the bout on Sunday and said: "June will be the date. We want somewhere that can cater for the masses – we'll probably be looking at a football stadium to be honest.

"For this type of event, it doesn't get any bigger than a heavyweight championship fight in boxing."
