Hardie injury doubt for St Johnstone
ST JOHNSTONE could be without Martin Hardie for Saturday's league clash at Hearts after the midfielder suffered a knee injury in a closed-doors game against Falkirk. Hardie had scored in the 5-1 victory, with Kevin Moon, Paul Sheerin, Peter MacDonald and a trialist also on target.
Manager Derek McInnes said: "It was a good workout for a number of players on a very heavy pitch, but Martin's injury has overshadowed what was a very worthwhile exercise. We'll assess it over the next day or two, but my early thoughts are that it could lead to Martin being out for a week or two."
