Hamburg suffer first defeat of the season
HAMBURG, who host Celtic in the Europa League on Thursday, lost 3-2 at home to Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.
Monchengladbach twice came from behind before handing Hamburg their first loss of the season and robbing them of a chance to top the Bundesliga. Piotr Trochowski gave Hamburg the lead in the 13th minute only to see Marco Reus equalise after 39 minutes.
Ze Roberto put the home side ahead again but Dante equalised before Rob Friend got the winner.
