Griffiths' future up in air
LIVINGSTON striker Leigh Griffiths fears his potential move to West Bromwich Albion could fall through if Tony Mowbray becomes the new Celtic manager, writes Stephen Halliday.
The 18-year-old Scotland B international, who is also attracting interest from Dundee and Peterborough United, spent a week on trial at West Brom in April and was praised by Mowbray. But Griffiths remains uncertain of his future.
"Livingston have told me they are still speaking to clubs interested in me but they have yet to finalise a deal," he said. "I'm still a Livingston player until told otherwise.
"I haven't heard anything more from West Brom. I don't know if they are one of the clubs Livingston are speaking to. If Tony Mowbray goes to Celtic, then things will change. So I have no idea where I'm going to be at the end of June.
"West Brom are a big club. It was nice to go there on trial and if I got the chance to sign for them, I probably would. But if it goes up in the air, then I just have to concentrate on what I'm doing up here."
