Golf: Saltman in Ell of a fine position
LOTHIAN golfer Elliot Saltman was tied for the lead heading into the closing round of the Polaris Condado Open in Murcia today, writes NICK RODGER.
In tough conditions the oldest of the three Saltman brothers posted a one-over 73 in round two of the European Hi5 circuit event to share top spot with England's Stephen Shields on a one-over 145.
However, the youngest Saltman brother, Zack, struggled to an 81 which left him languishing down the field on 158.
