SIX greens at Barseback Golf Club, the venue for next week's Scandinavian Masters, have been vandalised with an "unknown chemical".
The chemical was put onto the greens on the last six holes, but European Tour officials are confident play will not be affected.
"During the tournament the greens will be discoloured though the roll of the ball should not be adversely affected," explained tournament director Mikael Eriksson.
On Tuesday, a man who threw purple paint on the 18th green during the Open championship at Hoylake was jailed for eight weeks.
Pressure group Real Fathers 4 Justice, a splinter group of the original Fathers 4 Justice group, claimed responsibility for the protest at Royal Liverpool.
