DONALD Trump’s course in Aberdeenshire has landed its first awards less than six months after the American entrepreneur hit the christening shot at Menie Estate.
It has been voted both course of the year and the UK’s best practice ground by Golf Odyssey, a leading golf travel magazine.
It described the course as “a must-play marvel that belongs on everyone’s bucket list” with the range being hailed as “one of the finest practice facilities anywhere”. Sarah Malone, of Trump International Golf Links, Scotland, said the awards were a “fantastic accolade”. She added: “This year has been exceptional – the feedback has been incredible and we’re looking forward to building on this success.”
