Munro claims his third winter win
NORTH-EAST ALLIANCE: Robert Gordon University student Gordon Munro scored his third win on the 2011-2012 circuit with a par-matching 64 at Newburgh.
Fraserburgh member Munro, a winner at Craibstone in November and Inverallochy in January, headed a field of 84 players by two shots to win a £100 voucher. Joint runners up on 66 were Carnoustie’s Lee Vannet and rookie pro Kris Nicol (Fraserburgh).
