Hutcheon out in front in Mallorca

OPTICAL EXPRESS PRO TOUR: Banchory’s Greig Hutcheon takes a two-shot lead into today’s second and final round of the Tour Championship at Son Gual in Mallorca.

The 2010 Tartan Tour No 1 fired an opening three-under-par 69 to put himself in pole position for a £4,000 top prize.

Former Scottish Amateur champion John Gallagher leads the chase along with Chris Currie after they both posted 71s. Mallorca-based Lauren Mackin, the sole woman in the field, shot a fine 75.
