KJ CHOI will receive the Golf Writers Association of America’s (GWAA) Charlie Bartlett Award, which is given to a pro golfer for contributions to the betterment of society.

“Although I feel that I haven’t done that much, I am honoured to be recognised for my actions,” said Choi, who will be honoured at an awards dinner in Augusta, Georgia, in the week of the Masters, The 42-year-old founded the KJ Choi Foundation in 2007 to helping Korean children and communities, but it has extended to global aid for hurricane and tsunami victims.
