Golf: David Drysdale saves best for last at Dubai Desert Open
LOTHIANS duo David Drysdale and Stephen Gallacher shared 31st spot in the Dubai Desert Classic.
Drysdale, the top Scot in last season's Race to Dubai, closed with a three-under-par 69 - his best effort of the week - to finish on one-under-par.
Gallacher, who had been just outside the top ten going into the final round after a 67 on Saturday, closed with a disappointing 76 to finish on the same mark.
Miguel Angel Jimenez beat Lee Westwood at the third extra hole in a play-off to win in Dubai.
