Glynn quits Bonnyrigg
BONNYRIGG ROSE manager Pat Glynn has parted company with the club just over a week before the start of the new season.
Glynn, one of the longest-serving managers in the East Region Juniors, leaves the club with immediate effect.
Prior to last season the New Dundas Park outfit had won two pieces of silverware for three consecutive campaigns, but ended last year trophyless despite reaching the final of the East of Scotland Cup.
Over the summer Glynn has lost a number of key players with Jamie Ewart joining Berwick Rangers and Mark Robertson moving to Linlithgow Rose, while Bathgate Thistle are interested in midfielder John Elliot.
Glynn's last match in charge came at the weekend when they were thrashed 7-1 by local rivals Newtongrange Star in the Andy Kelly Memorial Trophy.
