IN a separate SFA scheme, ten to 19-year olds can exhibit their football skills by simply turning up at a number of Lothians astroturf venues throughout the school summer holidays.
Kids can play free of charge and show off their moves under the watchful eye of SFA Football Development Officer and former Hibs striker Keith Wright at the following locations:
Newtongrange Astros (6-10 July, 6.00-8.00pm).
Woodburn Astros (20-24 July, 6.00-8.00pm).
Lawfield Primary School (27-31 July, 4.00-6.00pm).
Bonnyrigg Leisure Centre (3-7 August, 8.00-9.00pm).
IF you have freestyle moves to match Ronaldo and Messi, you can win the chance to display your skills to a Hampden Roar in early September.
The SFA is inviting prodigious young "skillsmiths" to submit video clips of themselves in action at www.scottishfa.co.uk/youthfootball. The top 18 clips will see youngsters performing at the Scotland v Macedonia World Cup qualifier on 5 September.
