ANNAN Athletic bounced back from a 2-1 defeat at Vale of Leithen with a comfortable victory at Netherdale.
Alan Inglis gave the SFL side the lead but a fine Jamie Gibson goal got the hosts back level.
However, Annan proved too strong for their former East of Scotland rivals as Phil Storey (2), Graeme Bell, Aaron Muirhead and Lewis Sloan – the striker signed from Dalbeattie Star – completed the rout for Harry Cairney's side as they prepare for their second season in the Third Division of the Scottish League.
