Footie fun sees Hibs promote healthy living
HIBERNIAN stars Rob Jones and Souleymane Bamba went back to school to meet with P3 and P4 pupils who took part in Hibernian's community initiative Footie4Schools.
Over 60 pupils from Abbeyhill Primary School, Edinburgh, took part in an all-inclusive football coaching session with the Hibernian Community Team and were given a chance to put the first team stars on the spot about healthy living/eating and exercise.
Before leaving the school, a participation certificate was presented to the teacher and each pupil was rewarded with a free match voucher for an up-and-coming SPL game at Easter Road Stadium.
A Hibs spokesman said: "We were delighted to deliver our new project to Abbeyhill Primary School.
"The new initiative aims to promote positive attitudes to healthy living and exercise through fun football coaching sessions and opportunities to meet players."
