SCOTLAND midfielder James Morrison has been ordered by West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke to make sure that he leaves his international heartache at Hampden.
Clarke doesn’t wasn’t want to see Morrison, who has been Albion’s star performer so far this season, suffering a World Cup qualifying hangover when Albion face Fulham tomorrow.
Clarke, who also had Albion midfielder Graham Dorrans as an unused substitute in both internationals, said: “Obviously the Scottish boys will be disappointed. Maybe the team didn’t get the points they were looking for and maybe they didn’t get the performances they were looking for.
“But I spoke to both of them before training on Thursday and I said ‘listen, no matter what your emotions were when you were away, when you come back to us and we pick up where we left off’.
“They have to leave their international disappointment behind them.”
