Watford don't interest me says united boss Levein
Craig Levein wants to remain at Dundee United for the foreseeable future after rejecting the advances of Watford.
The Coca-Cola Championship strugglers made an approach with a view to recruiting the United manager as replacement for the sacked Adrian Boothroyd.
However, Levein is enjoying life at Tannadice after recently leading United on a 10-match unbeaten run.
"Watford came in at the weekend and made an enquiry," Levein told the Scottish Sun.
"It's a big job, but I wasn't the slightest bit interested.
"No disrespect to Watford, but I won't be leaving United unless I get the boot or something really attractive comes up."
Levein left Hearts to manage at Leicester in 2004 but he revealed his main motivation was to escape the "turmoil" over the club's ownership and financial problems.
"I'm still a hugely ambitious person and want to manage at the top level," he added.
"But I like it here and I'm happy, which is a big thing for me."
