Spycams for Gers fans

THE Daily Record's front page ran an exclusive story revealing that Rangers officials will wear spycams on their heads in Seville next week to try and prevent trouble at the Glasgow side's Champions League clash with the Spanish side.

The move comes in the wake of disturbances between police and followers of the Ibrox side in previous away games in Europe.

A Rangers spokesman stressed that the spycams are not aimed at spying on the Rangers supporters, but simply to assist with safety in general following a spate of incidents which have landed the club in trouble with Uefa.

Meanwhile, on the back pages, the Daily Express revealed that Celtic manager Tony Mowbray hopes to land Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere on loan.

Mowbray is said to have a good relationship with Gunners manager Arsene Wenger which would smooth the way for a six-month deal.

The Daily Mail claims former Celtic manager Gordon Strachan, now in charge of Middlesbrough, has put Parkhead left-back Mark Wilson at the top of his January shopping list.
