SPL Fanzone; Rangers

Another 2-1 home victory made it three wins out of three for us, despite a stunning opener by Danny Grainger which would have graced any footballing arena. Most Rangers fans want to see teams come to Ibrox and have a go, so credit to St Johnstone for doing so.

No credit, however, for the premeditated treatment dished out to our baby-faced assassin Vladimir Weiss. After his cameo at Easter Road this was utterly predictable, so referee Calum Murray's Lord Nelson approach both to this and to three decent penalty claims means we won't exactly be clamouring for his return. Great to see Jelavic make his debut after a lengthy transfer saga. With Beattie and Weiss also settling in and Kenny Miller looking sharp, more goals look on the cards as well as a better showing from Scotland's only European representatives.
