SPL Fanzone: Celtic
The 4-0 thrashing in Utrecht last week was painful but came as no surprise; the team has not gelled and Lenny still played the usual suspects who consistently fail whenever a challenge is laid: Brown, Fortune and Samaras. On the positive side, one of them has gone. The other two continue to prove that the only thing consistent about them is their inconsistency.
Another positive is the league form. Three clean sheets from our first three games is pleasing but we have yet to be really tested. The signing of Stokes is a strange one. We do need a goalscorer but after his public snubbing of Celtic three years ago, he had better hit the ground running. We've seen prolific goal-scorers for Hibs fail to take their opportunity in the past – I hope that isn't the case this time.
