SPL clubs to receive remainder of pre-season payment in next week

THE 12 members of the SPL have been informed they will receive the remainder of their usual pre-season payment from the league in the next week.
The SPL were unable to pay the full balance to clubs after renegotiating broadcast deals in the wake of Rangers’ exiting the league.
The SPL paid half of the money - £300,000 - at the end of August, and have told the clubs that the remainder will be paid once contracts are signed off at the end of next week.
