THISTLE took a the lead in the 13th minute when Andrew Kidd latched on to a ball over the top of the defence and finished with a lob over Aaron Taylor. Grant Parker missed a penalty in the 58th minute. Annan then had a let-off when Gary Cochrane lost possession to set up Andrew Kidd but the Lothian striker's shot struck the crossbar. Annan continued to surge forward and were rewarded in the 78th minute after substitute Simon Tucker rolled the ball into the path of Chris Jardine,. who rifled low into the corner of the net from 18 yards.

HAWICK took an early lead when a clearance from defence released Gavin Robertson. His shot was only partially saved by Craig Jamieson and it crept over the line. Robertson then saw another shot saved by Jamieson before Craigroyston equalised with their first real attack. Scott Brown released Iain Cartwright, who chipped the ball over goalkeeper Scott Dowie. Soon after, Cartwright had a shot cleared off the line before a Robertson strike was also well saved by Jamieson.
Craigroyston started the second half well with Kevin Kane and Francis Martinez both hitting the woodwork. Their pressure was rewarded when Cartwright was brought down by Dowie and Kane netted the resultant penalty.

EYEMOUTH climbed off the bottom of the table after this shock victory at Yarrow Park. The basement boys went ahead after only eight minutes through John Crawford. Then, after surviving a lot of pressure, they secured victory late on. Crawford snatched his second following a flowing counter attack which included Andrew Sword and Mark Windrum. And the striker took full advantage when Selkirk keeper Gavin Watson was tackled near the halfway line by firing the ball home from 40 yards. The teenager rounded off a sensational afternoon by heading home his fourth goal in the final minutes.

SCOTT MACDONALD gave Tynecastle the lead and Steve McKenzie made it two from 22 yards. However, on the hour, Athetic's Graeme Bernardi beat his defender to score via the post. With 15 minutes left, Michael East levelled from 12 yards with the aid of a slight deflection.
