Scottish Cup draw in full: Junior side handed Tynecastle tie
Ayrshire junior outfit Auchinleck Talbot have been paired against SPL side Hearts in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.
Holders Celtic have been drawn away to Peterhead while Old Firm rivals Rangers will take on Second Division side
Arbroath.
Celtic first-team coach Garry Parker said the Parkhead side was not taking anything for granted despite being drawn against a side currently sitting second bottom of Division Three.
“We’ll have them watched and do our homework,” he said of the match-up with the side managed by former Celtic midfielder Jim McInally.
“He obviously knows a lot about Celtic.”
Inverness will host Dunfermline in what was the only tie between the 36 clubs to involve two SPL clubs.
Hearts’ city rivals Hibernian face the tricky prospect of a trip across the Forth to Irn-Bru Division Two leaders Cowdenbeath.
St Johnstone will host Brechin, Dundee United will travel to Airdrie, Kilmarnock will visit Dundee and St Mirren will play Hamilton, who were relegated from the top flight last term.
Aberdeen and Motherwell must wait until this weekend’s replays are completed to discover their opponents.
Aberdeen will face a trip to either Stranraer or Forfar, while Motherwell will host Elgin or Queen’s Park.
First Division leaders Ross County will play Stenhousemuir, Raith Rovers will meet Morton, Falkirk will take on East Fife and Livingston will play either Ayr or Montrose.
The reward for junior side Culter should they win their replay with Partick is a fourth round clash at home to Thistle’s First Division rivals Queen of the South.

Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 04:29 PMYou have to feel for Auchenleck really, here they were expecting a big team draw to make some decent money and what did they get..hard up Hearts at Tynie..They will probably be told to bring their own pies and bovril, and hot water bottles filled with shower material...shame...Still they will know what to expect next time if they get into the 3rd division and find Hearts there waiting for them.......

Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 07:51 AMtott - Honestly, be afraid; the 'Bot will not be scared or nervous about going to Tynie; they play some good football and if any of the Hearts players "don't like it up 'em", then a huge shock could be on the cards. In the current climate around your club, Talbot are capable of embarrassing a below-par Hearts. If both teams play to their best, Hearts will win with goals to spare, that is clear - but if Hearts don't..........What are the odds on a Talbot and Blue Brazil double I wonder.

Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 08:58 PMI have saw Achinleck a couple of times ........every bit as good if not better than 2nd 3rd div clubs........the whole of Auchinleck will be at the game & we will have to turn up to win. Cowdenbeath an even tougher draw for Hibs.......Wee Colin Cameron will fancy his chances.

Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 07:22 PMThats a cracking draw for both parties at Tynecastle - Hearts will get a chance to play the youngsters that look set to become the nucleus of their first team and Auchinleck Talbot get a great day out and probably a nice big cheque at the end of it. As for the Hibs draw I really hope our next manager has managed to turn things around by then (maybe even add a player or 2) as they way we're playing right now I would not go to Cowdenbeath full to confidence.

Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 05:37 PMI am sure Colin Cameron and Lee Makel of the Blue Brazil will put more misery on the pretenders. 110 soon to be 111 (nice number that)

Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 01:58 PMA tricky tie for the small, minnow-esque, lowly paid outfit - but with home advantage, I expect them to shade it.....

Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 01:11 PM#1 You,ll probably find that Auchinleck get not a bad wage for a Junior side. At last a stroke of luck for Hearts! A home tie which will bring in much needed money and the promise of a cup run to ease the economic problems. But we all know Hearts cup recrod of late so no counting chickens etc.
