Barcelona and Sevilla prepare bids for Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra

Barcelona scouts are understood to have came back with positive reports on Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra's performance in the African Nations.

The Catalans are not expected to submit a bid until the summer when club president Joan Laporta stands for re-election.

Reports have also emerged Sevilla are interested in signing Bougherra when the transfer window reopens in June.
