Pressley ‘glad to be overruled’ in Colchester game

STEVEN Pressley has admitted he was glad was overruled by his Coventry City players in their 2-2 draw against Colchester United on Tuesday.

Coventry grabbed a point when Carl Baker scored a last minute free-kick – but Pressley had been screaming from the sidelines for former Rangers midfielder John Fleck to take it.

Pressley, who has picked-up four points from his first two games in charge after quitting Falkirk last week, said: “When Carl was lining up the free-kick I was screaming for Flecky to take it. What does a manager know, eh?”
