Pele signs for Falkirk
FALKIRK have confirmed the signing of former Southampton and West Brom midfielder Pele, subject to a medical.
The 31-year-old Portuguese has been training with the club for the last 10 days and has impressed manager Eddie May.
Pele becomes the Bairns' second signing in the past week following the return of Pedro Moutinho as May seeks to bolster a squad that has failed to win a single domestic game under his stewardship.
Having started his career with Imortal Desportivo Clube, Pele moved to Algarve neighbours Farense before joining Belenenses.
He joined Southampton in 2006 and moved to West Brom the following year – both for fees in the region of 1million – but was released by Albion last summer.
