Rose flew out of the blocks in the third minute when Tommy Coyne set up Colin Strickland for the opener.

Shortly after, Grant Sneddon hit the bar with a 20 yard drive – the closest the home team were to come all afternoon.

Roddy MacLennan hit Rise’s second goal before Stuart McArthur headed home Mark Tyrrell’s corner.

Shortly after the restart Darren MacIntosh headed into his own net before rampant Rose went nap when Coyne latched onto Ruari MacLennan’s pass and confidently beat home keeper Ross Wartley.

Substitutes Stephen Manson and Calum Smith combined for the sixth goal with the latter calmly rounding Wartley before netting. The scoring was completed when McArthur scored with a low drive following a one-two with Smith.
