Lithgae look for Fife fillip

Mark Bradley, the Linlithgow manager, is desperate to maintain the club’s unbeaten season record intact at St
Andrews.

And, with rivals Bo’ness and Bonnyrigg possibly taking points off each other, a good
result in Fife could provide telling emphasis to Linlithgow’s Super League campaign.

Bradley said: “St Andrews had a bad defeat at the hands of Bo’ness last week and their manager Jim Hardie will have been giving them pelters in training. He’ll be looking or something from the players who were on the field last week.

“We’ve had a great start to the campaign but we’re treating it one game at a time.

“We had a break last week with the lads away on Scotland duty and that gave a couple of the players time to get some treatment. It also gave me a chance to have a look at our Scottish Cup opposition.

“Tomorrow though comes first and if we approach it in the right way then there’s no reason why we can’t come away three points richer. Our good start is no use if we start
throwing things away. If we keep our concentration then we’ll be all right.”

Linlithgow’s David Dunn
fractured his arm last week so he’ll be missing, plus Andy Shirra is doubtful but may make it.

Elsewhere in the Super League, Broxburn manager Steve Pittman faces another big game when Hill of Beath come calling. Pittman is looking to have a full squad together for the first time in weeks. Musselburgh boss Davy McGlynn takes his side over the Forth to face Kelty.

Penicuik are away to Forfar West End in the East of Scotland Cup while Edinburgh face Super League side Camelon at home.

Whitburn are at Ballingry in the Fife and Lothian’s Cup.
