Inverness score hat-trick with awards for manager and two players
Terry Butcher was voted manager of the month
INVERNESS are celebrating after scooping all three Clydesdale Bank SPL awards for November on the back of fine form which has seen them close in on Celtic at the top of the table.
Terry Butcher has been voted manager of the month, while Billy McKay and Aaron Doran have won player and young player of the month respectively.
Inverness have seen an impressive run of results and have battled up to third in the SPL table, behind league-leaders Celtic and a resurgent Hibs.
“It’s a great boost for everyone at the club that we’ve swept the boards in the latest awards series”, Butcher said on the club’s website. “Our successful sequence has obviously played its part in drawing attention to us. It’s nice to be honoured and we’re keen to maintain momentum.
“Billy McKay has been scoring goals for fun, as he showed at Ross County last Saturday, while Aaron Doran has been in very exciting form out wide for us.
“But they both pay tribute to their team-mates for giving them the opportunity to express their talents and make such an impact.”
