High five for Easthouses

EASTHOUSES under-15s' photoshoot to show off all their new gear from five different sponsors was an example of how a good community-based youth football club operates, writes IAN MACKAY.

Head coach Marcello Cossettini and his assistant Martin Murray had the squad all kitted out in their best gear and what a show they put on. To have a nap hand of sponsors is something to boast about and the boys were resplendent in their new equipment.

PaperPlus Office Supplies donated the strips, while the smart jackets the boys are wearing came from Campbell Bros Butchers. Total Produce Fruit & Veg Supplies' gift to the team was kit bags for the boys to use, while the match balls were paid for by Di-Rollo Ice Cream.

The training equipment the team use every week was another gift, this time from Harding Marine Services Ltd.

Mr Cossettini: "It is hard going for youth clubs but we are extremely lucky to have such great sponsors.

"We have a great bunch of lads and they appreciate all that is being done for them."
