Hibs warned not to take Dons lightly
Hibs Ladies’ boss Willie Kirk believes his side must guard against complacency if they are to secure the three points on offer in the Scottish Women’s Premier League tomorrow.
Hibs team face an Aberdeen side lacking in confidence at Albyn Park, Broxburn (kick-off 2.00pm). The Dons enjoyed an impressive first half of the campaign only to fall away badly after the mid-season break.
He said: “Aberdeen’s results have been poor in recent months but we cannot be lured into believing they are a poor side because on their day they can give a game to any side in the SWPL.”
Meanwhile, Hutchison Vale manager Ian McDonald believes his team must focus on their own performances rather than looking for favours elsewhere as his team attempts to finish top of the bottom six.
They take on Inverness at Bught Park in the Highlands (kick-off 2.00pm) tomorrow looking to extend their record-breaking run to four games.
He said: “Beating Rangers 3-1 meant that we won three SWPL games in-a-row for the first time ever and it would be great to extend that record.
“With Rangers and Hamilton playing one another tomorrow it’s important that we make sure we get three points.”
Spartans are at home to Celtic (Ainslie Park, kick-off 1.00pm).
