Glasgow City’s Euro adventure ends

GLASGOW City’s dream of reaching the last 16 of the Champions League for the second year running ended last night as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Fortuna Hjorring in Denmark.

Home keeper Maria Christensen made several saves to prevent City overturning last week’s 2-1 first-leg defeat. City coach Eddie Wolecki Black said: “The best team has gone out of this competition.”
