SCOTLAND manager Craig Levein has called up Blackburn striker David Goodwillie for Wednesday’s friendly against Australia at Easter Road.

• Scotland take on Australia at Easter Road on Wednesday

Goodwillie scored in his last appearance for his country - a 3-1 Euro 2012 qualifying defeat to Spain in October.

The 23-year-old moved to Ewood Park from Dundee United in August, scoring two goals in 20 league appearances for Rovers, although he started just four games.

Yesterday Rangers midfielder Ian Black and Leeds United striker Ross McCormack were called into the squad following four withdrawals.

Winger James Forrest (groin), striker Jamie Mackie (calf) and defender Phil Bardsley (ankle) have pulled out while midfielder Graham Dorrans is with his baby daughter who is ill in hospital.

Levein named his initial squad for the fixture last week.
