AC MILAN’S Champions League victory over Barcelona cost one unfortunate punter a £1million jackpot

The Coral customer, from Wiltshire, had entered the bookie’s “Win A Million” competition and predicted the correct scores in the first six Champions League last 16 matches. The customer needed Schalke and Galatasaray to draw 1-1 and Barcelona to beat AC Milan 2-0, therefore his dream was dashed when Milan scored on 57 minutes.

Coral have offered a trip to Barcelona for the second leg as a consolation prize.
