Changing room chat: Alan Gow not fazed by move to Iran
FORMER Falkirk, Rangers and Norwich City midfielder Alan Gow is prepared to ignore government advice and begin a new career in strife-torn Iran.
Relations between the Islamic Republic and the West may be at an all-time low but the 29-year-old insists that he will have no problem signing for Rah Ahan in the Pro League after spending two days visiting the club, based in the capital of Tehran.
“I have the offer of a deal there and I’m quite happy to take it,” said Gow, who quit Indian side East Bengal last month.
