Broxburn get firmly on top of Hill of Beath

Broxburn Athletic 3

Hill of Beath 0

Two second-half goals from Brian Fairbairn and a wonder strike in the first half from Scott Pittman saw the home side
deservedly win this match.

Five minutes in, Fairbairn’s free-kick was superbly turned round the post by Hall in the visitors goal, from the resultant corner the ball was partially cleared to Pittman who thundered a unstoppable shot into the net from 25 yards.

Seath hit the Broxburn bar
after 55 minutes and was to rue that chance as Broxburn
increased their lead five minutes later. Tague beat three defenders before shooting it broke to Cowan who laid it of to Brian Fairbairn who fired home from an angle by way of post and bar.The third goal came from the spot as Tague was through on goal as Condie tripped him and Fairbairn stepped up to score with the spot kick.
