Belgium World Cup ticket woe for Tartan Army

The Tartan Army have been left disappointed by the Belgian FA after being handed the bare minimum of 3,293 tickets for next month’s World Cup qualifier in Brussels.

That is eight per cent of the King Baudouin stadium’s 45,000 capacity, the deal that was struck between the Group A sides but it had been hoped up to 6,000 tickets would be sold to travelling supporters. However, Belgian fans bought the home allocation in record time.

Scotland Supporters’ Club members with three points or more are guaranteed a ticket, at a cost of £25, when they go on sale from tomorrow morning.
