THIS was a scrappy A East of Scotland Cup game played in atrocious conditions.

Headed goals by Ross Archibald and Paul Currie, 
after Sean Grady had hit the bar twice, saw the Rose take a comfortable lead into the break. Although Bonnyrigg had the lion’s share of possession again, in the second half they could not add to their tally. Although David Dunn deflected a David Fife cross past Patarek, Rose held firm.
