NHS funding

Given the widely reported statements by the outgoing chairman of the British Medical association in Scotland, Dr Brian Keighley, to the effect that the NHS in Scotland is on the edge of collapse and that notwithstanding the Scottish Government’s promises of a truly seven- day NHS all that is being funded at the moment is “an inadequate five-day service”, is it not high time that Alex Neil resigned as minister for health? I know what would happen in private industry. He would be fired.
