ROSS County have completed the signing of former Barnsley midfielder Martin Woods, the club have announced.
Woods has a wealth of experience in the Barclay’s Premier League, Sky Bet Championship and League One in England, having kicked-off his career at Leeds before going on to spells with Sunderland, Rotherham and Doncaster.
The 28-year-old former Scotland Under-21 international has penned a deal with the Dingwall club until the end of January with a view to a longer stay in the Highlands.
He becomes Staggies boss Jim McIntyre’s first signing since he replaced Derek Adams last month.
The manager said: “I’m delighted Martin has agreed to join the club. He’s a great talent and has a fantastic left foot.”
Woods could make his County debut at Celtic Park a week on Saturday when his new side take on the Scottish champions in Glasgow.
