Hibs head coach Alan Stubbs and midfielder John McGinn have won November’s Ladbrokes Championship manager and player for the month awards for November.
It’s the second time in a row that Stubbs has taken the accolade after he was named manager of the month for September. The 44-year-old – who was today linked with the vacant manager’s job at Reading – currently has Hibs on a 15-game unbeaten run across all competitions, with the Hibees winning all five matches in the league and cup during November.
McGinn, 21, claimed his award after a series of exceptional displays in the Hibs midfield, in particular back on November 1 when he dominated proceedings in a 2-1 win over current league leaders Rangers.
Hibs are currently three points behind the Gers and the two teams are due to meet at Ibrox on December 28. The Easter Road side are also in the semi-finals of the League Cup after they eased past Premiership side Dundee United 3-0 last month.
