Hibs will play Valur or Brondby in second qualifying round of Europa League.

Icelandic side Valur take on the Danish outfit Brondby in the first round – meaning Hibs will only find out their opponents a week before the tie.

The first leg is set to be played on Thursday, July 14, with the second leg a week later. Home and away advantage will be announced in due course.

Hibs’ last foray into Europe in season 2013/14 ended on a sour note when they were dumped out of the Europa League at the second qualifying round after a 9-0 aggregate thrashing by Malmo.
