Hibs head coach Alan Stubbs has agreed a deal to become manager of Rotherham United.

The 44-year-old Liverpudlian has been locked in talks with Millers chairman Tony Stewart today and his appointment at the English Championship club is expected to be confirmed imminently, once compensation is agreed with the Easter Road club. This is expected to be a formality.

Stubbs is likely to be unveiled to the media in Yorkshire tomorrow, leaving Hibs to officially begin the search for a new head coach.
