Spanish striker Juanma Delgado last night declared himself ready to sign for Hearts after freeing himself from his contract with Greek club Kalloni.
The 24 year old is due in Edinburgh imminently to finalise a move to the Tynecastle club, who have been tracking him for the past six months. “Looking forward to starting my new stage with the @JamTarts,” tweeted the 6ft 2ins forward.
No deal has been completed yet as Hearts are keen to see confirmation that Juanma’s contract with Kalloni, which he extended recently, has been terminated. “He’s somebody we’d like to get in but there was an issue with his contract in Greece,” said Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson. “That’s been sorted out so it’s something we’ll try to get moving again. Until we actually see something down in black and white, then I’ll wait and see.”
