Hearts’ away leg of their Europa League tie against Birkirkara in Malta will be shown live on TV.

The game at the Hibernians Stadium in Paola will be screened by pay-TV station Premier Sports on 14 July, with kick-off at 7.30pm.

Birkirkara will then visit Tynecastle a week later, on 21 July, with kick-off at 8pm.

Hearts progressed to the second qualifying round after beating Estonian side FC Infonet 6-3 on aggregate. Birkirkara, meanwhile, defeated Široki Brijeg of Bosnia 2-1.

Last year the Maltese side beat English Premier League side West Ham 1-0 at the Ta’Qali National Stadium in a Europa League qualifier, before ultimately losing 5-3 on penalties to the London side after a 1-1 draw on aggregate.
