ALLY MCCOIST has vowed to speak to Richard Foster over his bust-up with Rangers fans during last night’s game at New Bayview.
Foster is reported to have become involved in an angry exchange with supporters during the second half of his side’s 2-0 win over East Fife. The defender appeared to take exception to abuse being directed him by the travelling support.
Manager McCoist admitted he didn’t see the altercation but insisted that he would have words with the player if they were required. He said: “I didn’t see it but you will never win the battle arguing with fans. The irony isn’t lost on me that when they get a bit of stick the toys come out of the pram. That’s coming from someone who’s had more than his fair share of stick from football fans. These things happen and I will have a word if it’s needed but I don’t really think so.”
