Midfielder Kevin Thomson has been released by Dundee via mutual consent.
The former Hibs captain has been with the Tayside club since the beginning of last season.
He made 38 appearances within that time and was viewed as a first-team regular when fully fit.
The club released a short statement on the website, confirming the news.
It read: “We would like to thank Kevin for his contribution during his time at Dens and wish him all the best with the next stage of his career.”
Thomson had two separate spells at Easter Road with stints at Rangers and Middlesbrough in between.
He has three caps for Scotland but the 31-year-old has struggled with injuries in the latter years of his career.
